I always knew that my destiny was to sing, but not knowing the Lord
I originally sought to sing on Broadway and movies. Although
that was my original training, when I accepted the Lord
at age 18, my life's direction changed. I was
not raised in a Christian home but upon accepting the
Lord, I immediately felt the call of God on my life to minister
in song and the Word.
After only being saved a short time, the Lord spoke
a word of prophecy to me at an evangelistic meeting. The
word of the Lord was that I would sing in front of thousands of people
and they would be saved and healed. That has been my desire ever since.
To see people set free, not only from physical ailments, but also
emotionally.
Having been a victim of abuse as a child, I am acutely
aware of the necessity to have the Lord completely touch
and heal our hearts if we are not only to be effective
for Him, but also to be whole. The Bible states that the “Lord came
so that we might have life, and life abundantly.” It is my sincere
desire to see people set free so that they can lead abundant lives
full of the joy of the Lord.
While attending LIFE Bible
College I was diagnosed with cancer. The Lord miraculously
healed me! He began to heal many other areas of my life
as well, and the word began to spread of the tremendous
things God was doing in my life. And that is where my ministry really
began. I would be asked to come and share my testimony in churches
all over California. God began to do miraculous things in the ministry
time as well, and many people began to be healed themselves.
After
being in the ministry for the past 20 years, my desire
is still to see people saved and healed. It is my privilege to represent
the Lord in sharing the Gospel message through both preaching and
music.
